This is one of the most stunning books I have ever read. It was a Christmas present from my uncle. Instead of typing out whole sections, I am just going to transcribe the best paragraphs. There is very little actual plot. It is a reflection, a consummation. Lovely. I hope everyone will buy this. It is simply amazing—even, I think, for someone without much background in Classical mythology. There. I'm done talking.
